Spanish police have arrested 7 Albanians during an operation to crack down on drug trafficking. It is learned that a significant amount of cocaine, still unweighed, was seized while they were caught on a dinghy with three 450 HP engines.
The Albanians were also linked to the fishing boat captured in 2023 before reaching the Cíes, with the gigantic quantity of 7,500 kilograms of cocaine.
According to the police, a significant amount of cocaine distributed in packages, as well as materials related to drug trafficking, was confiscated.
The discovery of the dinghy in Rego do Alcalde, the same place where another stranded dinghy appeared on Christmas Day, reinforces hypotheses of a direct link to another ship that would send the drugs to the high seas.
