In complete secrecy, Laert Haxhiu, one of the most cold-blooded Albanian killers, was extradited from Greece today. Although he tried several times to block the extradition, the Greek authorities refused and today he was suddenly brought to Tirana.
But who is Laert Haxhiu?
Laert Haxhiu, the head of the criminal group, together with the repentant police officer, Artan Tafani, were found to be accomplices in 4 murders in Albania. The 31-year-old also ordered two murders in Greece. All these crimes happened from 2018 to 2021. They killed Çajup Selim, Fridman Xhaferaj, Alban Semaku and Albi Bashali.
The first, businessman Çajup Selimi, was executed in Tepelena at the entrance of his house in the "15 Shtatori" neighborhood on June 1, 2021. He left the house after being called by a person and was shot on the stairs of the second floor of the building where he lived. 6 people cooperated for his elimination.
The next day, members of the group commit another murder. Fridman Xhaferaj is executed in the city of Korça, but his body was discovered 12 days later, in the reservoir of Gjançi. At that time, the police's suspicions were that the 25-year-old had been executed for clearing accounts, due to previous conflicts. 7 people cooperated in the murder of the 25-year-old.
The third murder revealed by the testimony of the repentant Artan Tafani is that of Alban Semaku, on October 17, 2021. He was also known as Elton Kinezi. He was found murdered on the banks of the Shkumbin River, five months after he was released from prison. Laert Haxhiu, Artan Tafani and Lulzim Spahija participated in this crime.
The next criminal event is the murder of Albi Bashali on December 27, 2021. We were shot with a barrage of bullets as soon as he got out of the car to go to the cafe. The crime happened in the village of Gjoçaj in Peqin. The police say that the reason was revenge after his brother, Leonard Bashaliu, killed Ylber Xhahysa.
But Laert Haxhiu was not only an executioner, he also ordered two murders in Athens at different times, that of Lulzim Qorri in December 2018 and Dickens Halil in October 2021. They were part of drug trafficking gangs.
The history of the Lushnje gang

Tentativa e parë për vrasjen e Xhulio Shkurtit
Në Shtator të vitit 2016, në një rrugicë të Lushnjës, Laert Haxhiu udhëton me një Smart. Aty ndeshet në rrugë me Xhulio Shkurtin, nipin e Aldo Bares, që shoqërohej me një shokun e tij.
“Në atë çast përballë tyre në rrugë ka ndaluar një autoveturë e bardhë tip Smart, me targa italiane e drejtuar nga i pandehuri Laert Haxhiu. Ky i fundit kishte në dorë një pistoletë me të cilën ka qëlluar në drejtim të tyre, derisa i mbaruan fishëkët e pistoletës. Një nga plumbat e pistoletës të të pandehurit ka qëlluar Xhulion në këmbën e majtë, ndërsa një tjetër ka goditur shtetasin Saimo Xheliu në pjesën e barkut. Pasi i kanë mbaruar fishekët e pistoletës i pandehuri i ka thënë Xhulios: “Nuk e ke të gjatë ti!”. Më pas e ka fyer dhe ka vazhduar rrugën me autoveturën e tij drejt kryqëzimit të gjimnazit “18 Tetori” thuhet në dosjen e prokurorisë, sipas dëshmisë së Xhulio Shkurtit.
Sipas variantit të babait të Laert Haxhiut, historia ishte më e komplikuar se kaq.
“Edhe atë veprim që bëri, që plagosi Xhulio Shkurtin me atë tjetrin, e bëri se ata e shanë, e ofenduan. Prandaj nuk kanë të drejtë ata të shajnë e të ofendojnë njerëzit. Konflikti nisi se këta i thonin ku i ke gjetur lekët ti që ke blerë makinë. Ç’kanë ata se ku i gjen lekët djali im. Apo janë të fortit e Lushnjes ata dhe ekziston akoma ligji i xhunglës tek ata? Ata janë të fortit e Lushnjes dhe mund të bëjnë çfarë të duan me lushnjarët? Jo s’është kjo e vërteta”, ka treguar Qamil Haxhiu.
Për këtë ngjarje Laert Haxhiu u dënua me 18 vjet burg, por nuk u arrestua asnjëherë. Nën hundën e policisë, organizoi një atentat të dytë ndaj nipit të Aldo Bares.
Vrasja e Besmir Hidës që kërkoi drejtësi për nipin
Terrorizuese ishte vrasja në Lushnje e biznesmenit Besmir Hida, daja i Zamir Latifit, viktimës së atentatit më lart.

The murder of Enver Boric
In the early hours of the morning of December 14, 2019, Enver Boriçi was found in a bar, killed with a bullet in the head. Family members found the ex-member of the Lushnja gang executed, after he had been drinking coffee. The bullet to the head had caused instant death.
The 52-year-old Enver Boriçi was the brother of Arben Boriçi, sentenced to life imprisonment as a member of the Lushnje gang.
