Several people clashed today in the area of Cape Rodoni in Durrës, due to the claims that the parties involved in the fight have over a property in that area. According to the information, it is suspected that there were gunshots in the ongoing conflict, but fortunately there were no injuries, while the police accompanied the two parties involved in the conflict.
According to the information, the conflict occurred between the citizen with the last name Kaculi, who has a property at the entrance of the park, and the latter had a conflict with the guard of the Cape Rodoni park. According to sources, the conflict is thought to have started because of a piece of land, where both sides claim to have a share in this part of the land which is a park!
The park guard and the other person started the conflict, which escalated to physical violence, where the parties were punched. Then, other people in support of the park guard fired with firearms, but no one was injured. The "apple of dispute" property has two ownership certificates, one is owned by the Franciscan Church and the other is owned by the Kaçuli family.
This is not the first time that there has been a conflict in this area over this issue, while the police say that reports have been submitted to the prosecutor's office for several years. These persons have been escorted several times. The administrative unit, the prosecutor's office, the Durrës municipality, the National Inspectorate of Territory Protection and the police have been aware of the conflicting situation, but so far there has been no decision regarding the documentation.
