The French court has sentenced the 22-year-old Albanian Mirsen Meti to 4 years in prison, who was caught a few days ago with 8 kg of cocaine and a quantity of cannabis pollen.
The 22-year-old did not want to speak much during his trial, saying that he is afraid for his life.
"I want to keep quiet, the cocaine found in the car is worth more than my head ," he said.
Matt was caught on May 3 in Saint-Etienne-de-Montluc, where customs officers and their dog discovered the cocaine.
The operation took place on the national road 165 that connects Nantes (Lorie-Atlantique) with Vannes (Morbihan).
Near Sant-Etienne-de-Montluc, in the Loire Atlantique, customs officers stopped a "Golf" type vehicle coming from the south of France.
8 kg of cocaine and a quantity of cannabis pollen were found hidden inside the vehicle.
The destination of young Mirsen Meti was the Lorient region.
