The court of Lezha has decided the security measure "obligation to appear" for Armand Ndreca, the brother of MP Eduart Ndreca. According to the court, there is no evidence that Ndreca is involved in the cultivation of cannabis.
As for the other two, Armel Nikdukaj and Elvis Shpellzai, the court of Lezha has imposed the security measure of "prison arrest".
Armand Ndreca was arrested on April 10 for transporting narcotics, after he had adapted a booth for the cultivation of narcotic plants.
Ndreca was arrested after an anti-drug operation where a stable was found that had been turned into a 'grass house'. The arrest of the socialist MP's brother came after a months-long investigation by the Lezha Police on the cultivation of cannabis in the forests of Kashnjet. Armando Ndreca's brother-in-law, Armel Nikdukaj, 27, and Elvis Shpellzai, 28, were also captured. They were caught in the stable they had adapted as a 'shepherd's house'.
Nikdukaj and his friend Shpellzai have been kept under surveillance for several months. Ndresa Ndreca fell into the "trap" of the Police, after tapping the phone of her brother-in-law Armel Nikdukaj, a phone call with Armando Ndreca was also recorded. During the questioning, the deputy's brother stated that he has nothing to do with drugs.
During the operation, 2973 narcotic plants, some of them seedlings ready to be cultivated in the ground, a quantity of narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 50 lamps, ventilation equipment and three mobile phones were seized. While during the control in the apartments of Nikdukaj and Shpellazi in the city of Koplik, 3 cold weapons and a mask were seized.
