Sokol Mjacaj has agreed to cooperate with the investigators and is in the process of repenting and becoming an associate of justice.
Mjacaj is expected to confess to the investigators the motives that led him to commit the murder of Arben Lleshi in the premises of the Peqin prison.
He is expected to find out if the murder was commissioned from outside the prison and who are the people who paid him to eliminate the target.
We remind you that earlier this Thursday the Court of Appeal released from detention the director of Peqin prison Kamber Hoxha and 10 employees of this institution.
Their arrests were carried out after suspicions that the weapon used by the life sentence convict Sokol Mjaçaj, with which he carried out the execution, may have been manually introduced into the prison premises in cooperation with police officers.
The author said that he obtained the crime weapon about 1 and a half months ago, when the scanner may have been broken.
It was initially alleged that the weapon was brought in by a drone, but it appears that investigators have shot it down as a runway.
However, Mjaçaj is serving a life sentence after he robbed and killed two Czech tourists in the village of Prekal in Dukagjin in July 2015.
While the victim Arben Lleshi was sentenced to 32 years in prison for a murder committed in Great Britain. Another convict, Indrit Shaqe, was also injured as a result of this conflict.
Regarding the 41-bis regime, 28-year-old Mjacaj says that he heard from other prisoners, who told him that "you are dangerous, Sokol, and will be put in solitary confinement".
Sokol Mjacaj was also asked before about the order he allegedly received from outside to commit the murder, but he maintained the same attitude that he killed him because of the fight they had inside the prison.
He shot 5 times with the mill pistol, and Arben Lleshi took 4 of the bullets, in the neck and chest, while the injured Indrit Shaqja took a bullet in the abdomen, and is out of danger for life.
After he killed Arben Lleshi, some other prisoners followed Mjacaj and tried to stop him, but he threatened to kill them too and then locked himself in the meeting room.
He had no more bullets, but he threatened them that if they followed him, he would kill them.
