New details emerged from the SPAK anti-drug operation in collaboration with operational forces and Spanish agents, which has been extended to several cities.
According to journalist Klodiana Lala, the owner of the apartment where the drug laboratory was discovered in Qereke of Fushë Krujë, as well as several foreign citizens, has been arrested.
The latter were learned to be experts in the distribution of cocaine, while there are doubts that the criminal group had been operating in our country for a long time.
Under the direction of the Special Anticorruption Prosecutor's Office, a broad anti-drug operation was carried out in Tirana and its suburbs yesterday evening.
The agents carried out checks at the VIPA residence Kodra e Diellit, as well as in Qereke, to hit a structured criminal group in drug trafficking.
At the head of the operation are SPAK and law enforcement authorities from Spain, on whose account this action is being carried out.
In addition to those arrested, it is reported that several checks of apartments in the capital were carried out, but not only, where quantities of cocaine were found and seized.
This action comes a day after the meeting of the Police Director with DEA officials in Athens.
Regarding this action, until now SPAK and the State Police have not issued an official announcement.
