Security expert Fatjon Softa said that usually criminals wanted by Interpol choose the land border crossing.
According to him, this happens because it is easy to pass, since in many cases there are corrupt policemen who enable them to pass. However, Softa said that cases are not excluded when these people also come through the airport.
" Most of them come by land. There have also been cases where they came from the airport, sometimes they were stopped and sometimes they were not. There are many ways to pass checks and camouflage.
In general, they use false identities, such as passports, we know that in Albania they have been produced and continue to be produced to create false identities, taking the citizenship of one country or another. This was an opportunity to pass.
The border points, we may have corrupt people, we have seen the case when the police officer passed the drug, got into the car and this was caught by the Greek part, not the Albanian part because there was cooperation with the police" , said the expert Softa.
