A 34-year-old man was arrested by the police of Vlora, after he was caught while driving with a pistol in the car. Official sources informed that Ferdinand Palaj has been arrested.
"Within the "Rule of Law" operation, for the identification and arrest of citizens who carry weapons, without a permit, the "Shqiponja" Special Force, in cooperation with the Vlora Police Station, conducted the coded operation "Strike 10".
Based on the information provided during the operation that a citizen was moving armed, in the city of Vlora, the operation was finalized and the citizen was arrested in the act:
-FP, 34 years old, resident of Vlora.
During the operation, in the "Uji i Ftohte" neighborhood, the Police services stopped the vehicle driven by the citizen FP, who during the physical check found 1 firearm, a pistol with combat ammunition, which he possessed without a permit. The 34-year-old's pistol and vehicle were seized as material evidence. The procedural materials were handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Vlora," the police explained.
