A 43-year-old man was arrested by the police after he took 12 million old lek (12 thousand euros) from a citizen through fraud.

After the citizen with the initials RD reported that he was deceived by the 43-year-old, for giving a sum of money, the police of Dibra arrested the suspected author of the case, the citizen GT, a resident of the village of Kastriot, Dibër.

According to the police, the 43-year-old man took 12 million ALL with the intention of sending it to a relative.

During the search of the 43-year-old's vehicle, the police services found the amount of money, which was seized as material evidence.
