Over 1 hour of chaos, how Arben Lleshi was executed at the door of the cell and
Mjacaj in the cell and Arben Lleshi

Mjacaj went to Leshi's cell and after calling him by name, he went to the door. At that moment he shot him with 3 bullets.

An unprecedented event took place today in the Peqin Prison, where a convict shot, killing one prisoner and injuring another.

The author is Sokol Mjacaj. The latter, under still unclear circumstances, managed to secure a weapon inside the high security prison and at one point opened fire on Arben Lleshi.

According to sources, the crime took place inside the cells. Mjacaj went to Leshi's cell and after calling him by name, he went to the door. At that moment he shot him with 3 bullets. Meanwhile, the other prisoner Shaqaj was nearby, who was injured by mistake.

After the incident, the RENEA forces arrived at the Peqin prison, which after an hour of negotiations managed to neutralize Sokol Mjacaj and then take him to the Police Directorate of Elbasan, where he is being interrogated to testify what prompted him to commit the crime heavy.

For over 1 hour, the other convicts, as well as the staff, saw horror with their eyes, this is due to the fact that Sokol Mjacaj held the kitchen staff hostage.

The guards who were there, powerless to intervene and prevent the escalation of the situation, immediately notified the RENEA forces, which after a few minutes of negotiations managed to neutralize Mjacaj.

The suspicions are that the crime took place on orders from abroad. The prosecution and the police suspect that someone paid Mjacjan to execute Lleshaj, a person with a criminal past.

What adds to the suspicion is that the crime seems to have happened shortly before Mjacaj was isolated. An order was made for him to enter the "41 bis" regime, and as soon as the Minister of Justice announced his isolation, Mjacaj was set in motion to carry out the order.

The victim was also sentenced by the English court to 32 years in prison for the murder of a compatriot, an event that happened a few years ago in England.

The serious incident took place on April 10, 2012 when Lleshi, then 27 years old, known as a drug distributor in England, burned Agim Hoxha, 29 years old, alive inside his car in Southampton.

Meanwhile, 39-year-old Afrim Lleshi, who was then accused as an accomplice in this macabre crime, has been declared innocent by the Court in relation to these charges. Lleshi was extradited to Albania in 2016, where he was transferred to serve his sentence in the high security prison in Peqin.
