A 25-year-old man, identified as Rei Trimi, has been arrested by the Tirana police after being accused of being involved in the criminal activity of drug distribution in the capital.
His arrest was made after a several-month investigation in the framework of the coded police operation "Rapid Dispatch", for the crackdown on criminal activity in the field of narcotics.
During the operation, suspected narcotic substance cocaine, sums of money, 7 mobile devices, a vehicle were seized and 1 citizen was handcuffed.
Security measures "Arrest in prison" were also executed for two other citizens, Vilson Hasani and Mariglen Pupa, and their two accomplices were declared wanted.
From the verifications carried out, it was found that these citizens, in cooperation with each other, procured suspected narcotics of the cocaine type and then sold it in different areas of Tirana, mainly in the area of the former Block.
The work to capture their collaborators, citizens with the initials ST and AB, continues
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further actions.
