An employee of the Republic Guard reported to the police today that a person entered his apartment and among the things they stole was the service weapon, a pistol.
The denunciation was made by the 36-year-old Dhimitër Prifti, who appeared at the capital's police station number one, where, in addition to the report, he submitted two videos as material evidence.
As can be seen in these images, the person suspected of robbing the service weapon is wearing gray overalls and a hood over his head.
He approaches the window of the guard's apartment, stays for a few moments, checking whether or not there is anyone inside. At one point he faces the security camera and then proceeds to walk in. According to these images, he only had a few seconds to commit the robbery and exits again through the window. At the moment of leaving, the robber avoids the camera by covering his face with his hands.
The police have started investigations, while it is known that among the possible tracks is that of robbery by a person known to the guard employee. These doubts arise from three factors. First, the dog that approaches the robber before entering the apartment and does not bark. Secondly, the precise actions of the robber, who, as shown in the video, is aware of the window where he will enter, as well as the place where the pistol is located.
