Former chief prosecutor Shkëlqim Hajdari has commented on the "Tempulli" anti-drug mega-operation, which resulted in the beating of 23 criminal groups.
Hajdari said that the challenge for justice is not ordinary crime, but organized crime. Hajdari was also stopped by SPAK's tepuna, which said that it has increased the credibility of the international community.
"The fruits of cooperation within the country were also good, as well as with international ones. With the leadership of SPAK, the path of trust is opening, as before we suffered with the climate of mistrust. I believe that in the future we will continue to have excellent results.
Tirana is and will continue to be the center of criminal groups, as there is more circulation of money and people. Criminal groups have been identified, but the challenge is tracking and gathering evidence. This is a matter of will. So far it has passed the SPAK test. Crime has been fought all along. The challenge now is not with ordinary crime, but to fight organized crime and that is not very easy. SPAK is the head of crime in the country, other institutions are locomotives", said Hajdari.
