A woman in Durrës has been arrested after being accused of burning a vehicle.
It is known that the citizen Dorina Stafaj, a resident of Tirana, in cooperation with her brother, the citizen with the initials MS, 35 years old, burned the car of the citizen with the initials KS, 42 years old.
After burning the vehicle, the 41-year-old woman tried to burn the 42-year-old's apartment, but she was unable to do so.
"Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes of the Durrës Police Station, immediately after receiving the report from the citizen KS, 42 years old, about the burning of his vehicle, have organized the work with the aim of fully elucidating the circumstances and the cause of the burning of the vehicle.
From the quick investigative actions carried out by the Police, it turned out that the burning of the vehicle was intentional. In this framework, the coded police operation "Fiery revenge" was organized to identify and capture the perpetrators of this arson.
Thanks to quick professional and investigative actions, evidence was provided for the authorship and mechanism of the event. As part of the operation, the citizen Doriana Stafaj, 41 years old, living in Tirana, was arrested and imprisoned, her brother was declared wanted. the citizen MS, 35 years old, resident in Tirana, and the proceedings started in a free state for the Italian citizen FC, 58 years old, for not reporting a crime.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that due to a previous conflict, the 41-year-old woman, in cooperation with her brother, set fire to the 42-year-old's vehicle, while the Italian citizen was aware of the incident, but did not report the crime.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further actions, the police announced.
