33-year-old Marklen Haka was arrested today in Nikël during a "blitz" action.
Haka is a well-known name in the world of crime, part of Nikla's gang and accused of several criminal offences. Wanted as part of the "Revenge" operation carried out by SPAK.
Marklen Haka escaped several assassination attempts, one of which left his aunt dead. He managed to escape with only a bullet in the arm as he was in the yard when the shooting started.
While in January 2022, he was handcuffed by RENEA after an operation that led to the arrest of 19 people, but he was released again.
Haka ended up in handcuffs for the first time when he was 20 years old, suspected of a serious criminal offense, that of murder. He was arrested on June 29, 2011, suspected by the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana as the author of the murder of businessman Nadien Zeneli on the evening of June 13 of the same year, in one of the bars in the former Block in the capital.
Accompanied after the event, the arrested Marklen Haka denied the murder and claimed that he was not in Tirana on the day of the event. However, Haka was released after a few months, as the criminal offense for which he was arrested could not be proven and the Prosecution did not have enough evidence to convict him.
About the murder, the media at the time talked about two tracks, initially it was suspected that Marklen killed Nadien Zenel as a sign of revenge for the execution of his brother, Roland, when he himself was only 13 years old. The family's suspicions fell precisely on Nadien Zeneli, whom the Haka family accused of betraying, even though for several years he had close ties with the family in question.
The victim of the murder in Block, Nadien Zeneli, was married to the suspect's cousin, with whom he was divorced, but there was not enough evidence.
Later on September 12, 2018, Mariglen Haka was arrested together with her father and two other people, after the Police managed to find only a few illegal weapons.
In connection with this arrest, Haka was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment, which he completed in July 2019. Two months later, he was injured. Also, Haka is known for his friendship with Valter Bami, Durim Bami's brother, who transported him injured to the hospital in 2019.
Now that he was arrested again, Marklen Haka will face Albanian justice after it was reported on August 31 that he was arrested in Dubai where he was hiding recently.
From the conversations of Skyy Ecc, Haka is accused of trying to eliminate his former friend, Durim Bami. While earlier he was friends with the Bami brothers.
