The escape of the much-wanted Nikla ends, Marklen Haka is arrested
The police have arrested 33-year-old Marklen Haka, known as a member of the Nikla Gang. According to the police, the 33-year-old man was arrested in Nikël i Kruja during a "blitz" action.
It is learned that Haka had come from Dubai where he had been living for a long time three months ago. It is suspected that he entered our country illegally from Kosovo.
Marklen Haka is a well-known name in justice with several criminal records. He was wanted as part of the "Revanshi" operation and is charged by the Special Prosecutor's Office with the criminal offense of "premeditated murder", which remains pending, to the detriment of Durim Bami.
In January 2020, Marklen Haka was arrested by RENEA forces during an operation spread across several cities in the country. He was arrested as a suspect for 3 criminal offences: "Production and sale of narcotics", "Unauthorized possession of combat weapons and ammunition" and "Crime avoidance", but his freedom would be limited to only a few days. The prosecution could not substantiate these charges and he was released by the court.
Marklen Haka was previously arrested for a murder that occurred in June 2011 in the area of the former Block in Tirana, but was released due to lack of evidence. He is also suspected of some serious criminal events, but he has not faced justice.
He was wanted for the "Revanshi" file by SPAK and is accused of attempted murder against Durim Bami, participation in a criminal group and possession of weapons without a permit.
Marklen Haka, in September 2019, escaped an assassination attempt at the door of his house, where his aunt, Shpresa Basha, was left dead. Marklen Haka managed to escape with only a bullet in his arm. The target of the assassination was Marklen Haka himself, while his aunt was allegedly shot accidentally. She had opened the outer door of the house when she was fatally shot.
Marklen Haka was previously arrested for a murder that occurred in June 2011 in the area of the former Block in Tirana, but was released due to lack of evidence.
On June 8, 2022, he escaped another assassination attempt, at the entrance to the village of Nikël in Fushë-Kruje, but escaped, taking a bullet in the jaw.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha also reacted to Marklen Haka's arrest.
"A few minutes ago, the much-wanted Marklen Haka alias Aliu, suspected of participating in a criminal organization and involved in several serious events, fell into the hands of the State Police, after a professional operation of the RENEA Special Forces, based on the information of provided by the Police of Tirana. One of the most important characters of the world of crime was caught in Nikël of Krujës, with firearms, and several other people are accompanying him.
Attempting to avoid facing justice is getting and will get more and more appropriate response from blue uniforms and other law enforcement agencies every day.
This is the moment to congratulate and express respect for the forces engaged in the operation with a high degree of danger", announced the Minister of the Interior Ervin Hoxha.
Who is Marklen Haka?
From the conversations uncovered in the Sky ECC application, it is revealed that despite the friendships he had with Valter and Durim Bami, Marklen Haka supplied information to the opponents of the Bami brothers, who had to eliminate the latter.
SPAK begins the clarification of this event with the communication of Emijano Shullazi, who has been in prison since 2016 with Marklen Haka, another well-known character in Nikël.

In the assassination attempt on him in 2019, his aunt, 50-year-old Shpresa Basha, was killed, who protected her nephew with her body. The young man was shot with 100 bullets, while Haka had only been released from prison for two months.
Mariglen Haka ended up in prison for the first time when he was 20 years old, suspected of a serious criminal offense, that of murder.
On September 12, 2018, Mariglen Haka was arrested together with her father and two other people, in a sensational operation, during which special forces surrounded Nikla and several other villages of Kruja, escorting dozens of people, but who managed to found only a few illegal weapons. In connection with this arrest, Haka was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment.
With a decision dated April 9, 2019, the Court of Kruja sentenced Haka to 1 and a half years in prison, but with a shortened trial he was finally sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment. He completed his sentence in July 2019.
