According to the information, Haka had arrived from Dubai where he had been living for a long time three months ago. It is suspected that he entered the country illegally from Kosovo.
Haka was arrested in a secret operation, after the police had information that he had come to the Nikla area.
Haka is accused of being a member of Nikla's gang, which is involved in a number of criminal events. He is also accused of the attempted murder of Durim Bami, an event that occurred in November 2020.
Marklen Haka is part of the so-called "Nikla Gang". The last time it became part of the black chronicle was again related to the assassination. This time they went to his house, where he escaped the assassination attempt, while his aunt, Shpresa Basha, remained dead.
Marklen Haka managed to escape with only a bullet in the arm because he was in the yard when the shooting started. While in January of this year he was handcuffed by RENEA after an operation that led to the arrest of 19 people. But he was released again. Haka ended up in handcuffs for the first time when he was 20 years old, suspected of a serious criminal offense, that of murder. He was arrested on June 29, 2011, suspected by the Tirana Prosecutor's Office of being the author of the murder of businessman Nadien Zeneli on the evening of June 13 of the same year, in one of the bars in the former Block in the capital.
Accompanied after the event, the arrested Mariglen Haka denied the murder and claimed that he was not in Tirana on the day of the event. However, Haka was released after a few months, as it was not possible to prove the criminal offense for which he was arrested and the Prosecution did not have enough evidence to convict him. About the murder, the media at that time talked about two tracks. It was initially suspected that Marklen killed Nadien Zenel in revenge for the execution of his brother, Roland, when he himself was only 13 years old. The family's suspicions fell precisely on Nadien Zeneli, whom the Haka family accused of betraying, even though for several years he had close ties with the family in question. The victim of the murder in Bllok, Nadien Zeneli, was married to the suspect's cousin, from whom he was divorced. However, there was insufficient evidence.
But this would not be the last time that Haka would be handcuffed. On September 12, 2018, Mariglen Haka was arrested together with her father and two other people ended up in the Police. The police managed to find only a few illegal weapons. In connection with this arrest, Haka was sentenced to 1 year of imprisonment. He finished his sentence in July 2019. Two months later, he was injured. Also, Haka is known for his friendship with Valter Bami, Durim Bami's brother, who transported him injured to the hospital in 2019. But it seems that they turned from friends to enemies.
