A photo of the van has been released, inside which an arsenal of weapons, thousands of rounds of ammunition, handcuffs and police uniforms, as well as remote tracking and detonation devices were found.
Traffickers of seized ammunition and weapons have used a van marked "Road Maintenance" as camouflage.
It is learned that this vehicle had been parked on "Myslym Shyri" street for more than a month and that it was guarded by civilian officers to discover who was entering and exiting the van.
Initially, the Traffic Police intervened, as a maneuver by the police agents, with the argument that the road was blocked, and as soon as the weapons were found, the intervention was made by the crime agents.
The van with the inscription "Road Maintenance" is in the name of the arrested Eugert Sino.
The young man questioned by the police yesterday evening denied having anything to do with the weapons, arguing that he did not know who put them there, at a time when the van was parked near his apartment.
Two other people were identified as being involved in the search, but the police are not revealing their identities due to the investigation. Sino has a previous record of various criminal offenses. The seized weapons are relatively new and are suspected of being trafficked from Kosovo.
