The person in the photo is Asqeri Mandri, the 34-year-old man who kept his wife 'prisoner' in their villa in Kodër Kamëz.
He lived in Germany and returned to Albania two years ago. During these days, he physically abused the woman, in the presence of four children. Meanwhile, the cameras he had installed in the apartment to monitor it 24 hours a day, have also recorded scenes of violence.
The confessions of the relatives make the incident even more serious. Mandri's mother admits that she knew about the cameras, but justifies them with the fact that "the boy was jealous", while claiming that the girl was cheating on him.
The 34-year-old man was put in handcuffs and it is expected that the full dynamics of the event will be clarified by the investigative group.
