The police arrested a 39-year-old man who tried to hit his wife and another citizen.
The 39-year-old man, during the time he tried to hit another citizen and his wife, who was going to court for the separation hearing, as she had a protection order from her husband, also damaged the property (shop) of a citizen.
The timely intervention of the Police made it possible to seize the cutting tool (axe), as well as to capture and arrest the 39-year-old in the act.
The Police Services received information that a conflict was taking place in the UM citizen's store and a citizen with a cutting tool (axe) was trying to hit 2 other citizens. Police services immediately went to the given address, where it was possible to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
As a result, the citizen M. (Xh.) L., 39 years old, resident of Burrel, was arrested in flagrante delicto.
This citizen had been stalking his wife, who was going to court, had a protection order and was going to hold a separation hearing. At the moment when his wife, accompanied by another citizen, entered a store, the 39-year-old man entered the store premises, had a conflict and tried to hit his wife and her friend with a cutting tool (axe).
Also, during the conflict, the 39-year-old damaged some furniture in the store where the conflict took place.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Dibër, for further actions.
