Two young men were put in handcuffs today in Mirdita after it was learned that they took a 19-year-old. 20-year-old Mateos Brozi and 19-year-old Ergys Tusha took the young man hostage and stole his money.
Further in the announcement, it is reported that the police seized 220,000 lek that the arrested intended to steal from the 19-year-old, the vehicle used during the hostage-taking and 2 mobile phones.
" Immediately after the report of a 19-year-old citizen, that he was taken by force in the vehicle, by 2 other citizens, who, in order to get the money, held him for several minutes, against his will, in the closed garage of a building in Rrëshen, and then left it on the street, the services of the Mirdita Police Station organized the work to identify and arrest those responsible.
As a result, within the coded police operation "Telefonata", the Police services made it possible to immediately identify and arrest the suspected perpetrators of the case, UK citizens, 20 years old, resident of Rrëshen and ET, 19 years old, resident of Durrës .
Also, it was possible to find the amount of money stolen by violence, 220,000 ALL, which was seized together with the "Audi A4" type vehicle, with which the 19-year-old was taken by force, and with his 2 mobile phones the arrested.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions, for the criminal offenses of "Illegal Deprivation of Liberty" and "Theft with violence", committed in collaboration," the police announced .
