Meanwhile, the police are continuing the search for the body of the receptionist.

The 43-year-old man, who allegedly killed and disappeared the body of the receptionist of a hotel in Dhërmi, is arrested.

It is about Gerald Shehu, 43 years old, who allegedly shot dead in one of the rooms of the Eraldo Nevruzin hotel and then removed the body.

Then, he escaped towards Greece through the border point. The police immediately notified the Greek authorities, who managed to stop the 43-year-old man at an airport, who was trying to leave the Greek state.

The serious incident happened in a hotel in Dhërmi shortly after midnight, where it is suspected that Gerald Shehu killed Nevruz with a gun. Meanwhile, the police are continuing the search for the body of the receptionist.

Shehu and Nevruzi were friends with each other, while they are co-owners of the hotel. According to the evidence, two gunshots were heard and traces of blood were also found. It is known that the murder of the 31-year-old took place in one of the hotel rooms. 

The two investigative tracks where the police are investigating are: a banal roof conflict and the other for previous acquaintances and involvement in illegal activities in England where the missing person and the perpetrator lived.

The footage does not clearly show how the 31-year-old left the scene. Regarding this incident, 29 people have been taken to the police and are being interrogated.

"29 citizens have been administered in the capacity of material evidence, legal evidence, and have been accompanied up to these moments, to be questioned in connection with this event. From the totality of actions so far, it is suspected that we are dealing with a serious criminal event. The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work intensively to find the EN citizen, as well as clarifying the circumstances and complete legal documentation of the case. In the future, there will be other announcements about the actions carried out by the investigative group", the police initially announced.
