The State Police has reacted to the serious incident in Dhërmi where 43-year-old Gerald Shehu shot and killed 31-year-old Eraldo Nevruzi.
According to the police, Gerald Shehu has been announced as wanted while announcing that it has not yet been possible to catch the perpetrator.
The police are working with the Greek side to arrest the 43-year-old. It is learned that the two young men were co-owners of the hotel where the 31-year-old worked.
The Blues inform that they have seized the security cameras while making the photo of the author available.
In advance, it is reported that the incident took place in one of the hotel rooms. The police suspect that it is a case of murder because of the witnesses at the scene who say that two shots were heard.
Likewise, traces of blood at the scene add even more to the suspicion that the receptionist was executed.
"Following the intensive actions being carried out by the investigation group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to find the EN citizen, as well as to clarify the circumstances and the full legal documentation of the case, we clarify that from the controls so far it has not yet been possible to find of EN citizen
The State Police has announced the search for the suspected perpetrator, citizen G. Sh. (co-owner of the hotel where the citizen EN worked) and is cooperating with the Greek Police to make possible his location and capture, as from the investigations so far, the seized footage and the testimonies obtained, it is suspected that the citizen G. Sh. fired a firearm at the EN citizen
The State Police makes available the photo of the suspected author, which has also been made available to the Greek Police and partners in the countries of the region", the police announced.
