A 24-year-old woman who was seriously injured in an accident on the Përrenjas-Qafë Thane road axis could not survive her injuries and died yesterday at the Trauma hospital in Tirana.
Along with the victim, who remained in a coma for 5 days, three family members were also injured.
44-year-old Jetmir Daci hit 6 members of the family while they were near their vehicle, after they had stopped in the premises of a bar, about 30 m away from the road lane.
The test shows that the 44-year-old man was drunk at the wheel at the level of 0.40 mg/l at the time he hit the family members.
After the serious incident, the author was detained by the police, but was released by the Prosecutor's Office, while yesterday, after 5 days, his detention was decided again.
Artan Pishkashi, an immigrant, had returned to Albania for a family reason as he faced this serious accident.
The other 10-year-old daughter of the family broke her leg, and the 6-year-old girl also suffered a fracture.
