Three people have been arrested and two others have been declared wanted for cultivating narcotics in the village of Katerlis in Gramsh.
The arrested Sokol Beshiri, Vullnet Myrteli and Lorjan Goga had adapted 3 premises as greenhouses, in which they cultivated 792 narcotic seedlings.
The village chief and the forest engineer were also released.
The Elbasan police said that Sokol Beshiri and Vullnet Myrteli were caught red-handed in one of the greenhouses, while Lorjan Goga was caught in cooperation with the services of the Kuçovo Police.
Sokol Beshiri and Vullnet Myrteli are accused of "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in cooperation, while Lorjan Goga is charged with the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in cooperation and "Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth"
Also, the headman of the village of Katerlis, S. Ll., 61 years old, and the environmental engineer, Xh. M., 32 years old.

Gramsh/Finalized after several months of investigation with proactive methods, the coded police operation coded "Katerlisi", for the attack on the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants, in the initial phase.
The operation, from the Gramsh Police Station under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Elbasan General Jurisdiction.
During the finalization of the operation, he cooperated with the Kuçovo Police Station. They had adapted 3 premises as greenhouses, in the forest of Katerlis village, in which they cultivated 792 narcotic seedlings, 3 citizens were arrested (2 of them were caught red-handed in one of the greenhouses).
The work continues for the capture of 2 other citizens implicated in this criminal activity.
Also, the elder of Katerlis village and the environmental engineer are being prosecuted for abuse of office.
792 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings are destroyed.
Pursuant to the special police operational plan aimed at preventing, identifying and cracking down on cases of cultivation of narcotic plants, the services of the Gramsh Police Station, based on the information provided that in the territory of the village of Katerlis, administrative unit Tunje, Gramsh, in a wooded area, narcotic seedlings were cultivated, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, which registered the criminal proceedings.
In the framework of this proceeding, at the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction and in cooperation with the Kuçovo Police Station, the coded police operation "Katerlisi" was developed.
During the operation, in the village of Katerlis, Tunje administrative unit, Gramsh, in the forest massif, 3 premises adapted as greenhouses were discovered, in which 792 suspected narcotic cannabis sativa seedlings were found cultivated.
Also, it became possible to catch and arrest in flagrante delicto the suspected perpetrators of this case, the citizens:
-SB, 28 years old, resident of Dimal, for the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", committed in collaboration;
- VM, 56 years old, resident of Dimal for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in collaboration;
-LG, 30 years old, for the criminal offenses "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in collaboration and "Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth".
Citizens SB and VM were caught red-handed in one of the greenhouses, while citizen LG was caught in cooperation with the services of the Kuçovo Police.
In addition, the work continues for the capture of citizens GG, 43 years old and IZ, 47 years old, suspected of the criminal offense "Cultivation of narcotic plants", carried out in cooperation.
Further, following the actions for this case, the materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings were initiated in a free state for the criminal offense "Abuse of duty", for the citizens Xh. M., 32 years old, working as an environmental engineer and S. Ll., 61 years old, village headman.
The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office, for further actions, while the work for the capture of the wanted citizens continues.
