A 54-year-old man has been arrested after being declared internationally wanted for drugs.
According to the police, 54-year-old Agim Shtyllza has been charged by Italian authorities and arrested in our country, while extradition to Italy is awaited.
He was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome, after the Public Prosecutor in Turin, in January 2024, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Drug Trafficking".
Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy.
"Accused by Italian authorities for the criminal offense of "Drug Trafficking", the 54-year-old is captured and arrested for extradition purposes.
Following the checks carried out based on police intelligence, for the localization and capture of wanted citizens, the services of the Special Force "Eagle", as a result of the exchange of information with Interpol Tirana, have captured in the village of Stom Golem, the citizen declared internationally wanted: A. Sh., 54 years old, resident of the village of Hot i Ri.
This citizen was declared internationally wanted by Interpol Rome, after the Public Prosecutor in Turin, in January 2024, assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Drug Trafficking".
"Interpol Tirana, in cooperation with Interpol Rome, will carry out the procedures for the extradition of this citizen to Italy," the police announced.
