The Greek media have published a video of the wanted Albanian, Elis Salaj, 35 years old from Fieri, who is accused of killing the 39-year-old from Delvina, Pëllumb Islami.
The video was posted on social networks and Salaj was not bothering a group of people
According to the Greek media, the police have confirmed that the murder on February 21 was committed precisely by Salaj in Nea Ionia, Athens.
Despite this, Salaj, who turns out to be part of the criminal group called "Lions", continues to walk free.
This criminal group is known in Greece for numerous and serious crimes and illegal trafficking.
Earlier, 34-year-old Olsian Nurixhi alias Ernest Nurixhi and a 24-year-old Albanian known as "Dhimitri" or "Nektarios" were detained for the murder of Pëllumb Islam.
The group "Lions" and the bar "Bella Vita", which is known as their outlet, are suspected of having connections with a well-known figure of the underworld, imprisoned in Greece for cocaine trafficking from Latin America and several other serious events in the neighboring country.
The young man from Fieri, co-owner of a nightclub in the neighboring state, escaped an assassination attempt in December 2022 and suspected the victim's brother to be the perpetrator.
