The photo and video of Armand Shakaj, the 41-year-old known by the nickname "Mand Dhelpra", who has been declared wanted by the State Police as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Eglant Koç, has been published.
According to investigative sources, Shakaj is considered the main suspect in this case. He is suspected of holding the 34-year-old hostage, who has been missing for several days and has not yet been found, despite intensive search operations.
Footage obtained by "VoxNews" shows the 41-year-old's movements at moments that are now being analyzed by the investigative team as part of the evidence for the full investigation of the incident.
Meanwhile, investigations have enabled the identification of the environment where Eglant Koçi is suspected to have entered before his disappearance, as well as the people who had contact with him in the last hours before his tracks were lost.
In the context of this case, the police have also arrested Enea Zyferi, 25 years old, suspected of the criminal offense of "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime". According to investigators, he is suspected of having helped Armand Shakaj after the incident.
During the investigation, the vehicle in which the 34-year-old was allegedly transported was seized, as well as his motorcycle, which according to the police had been moved from the place where it was initially parked. During the examination of the vehicle, blood stains were found, which are suspected to belong to Koç. The samples have been sent for laboratory analysis.
As the search for Eglant Koç continues, authorities are working in parallel to locate and arrest Armand Shakaj.
