Tragedy in Pistoia in Italy. For the Reçi family, life will never be the same. Their son, Daniel, 18, died in his sleep in his bed.
The young man had not woken up on Wednesday morning. For this reason, the mother went to pick him up. But her son was no longer breathing and his heart had stopped beating.
Doctors and the carabinieri arrived at the scene, but there was nothing they could do. Daniel's dead body has been taken to the hospital where an autopsy is expected to be performed to find out the causes of death.
Daniel Reçi had left his homeland for a better future. He had gone to Italy last May when he was only 17 years old. For this reason, he participated in several projects in San Domenico for the social integration of immigrants.
He was taking some Italian language courses. But not only. At his school he had taken some martial arts courses as he was a fan of taekwondo.
The saddest thing is that in recent months he was trying to gain some economic independence by finding a job for himself.
After coming of age in October 2022, he was joined by other family members. For this reason, since December he lived in a house in Pistoia with his mother and younger brother.
The sad news was immediately shared in the Albanian community in Pistoia, especially among Daniel's friends, who have expressed their deep sorrow for this tragedy.
