Ervis Martinaj has been missing for more than two years, but not for justice, which despite alibis and enigmas has decided to respect the procedure.
The court ordered on February 17 that Ervis Martinaj be notified of the case through physical and online notices, for which Martinaj must be informed that the hearing will be held on March 7, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
With this public announcement, the Special Court is exhausting the public notice for the 43-year-old to inform him that in the Court for Corruption and Organized Crime, SPAK has requested the confiscation of unjustified assets related to his family members.
This notification is procedural but inevitable for the judge in the case, who must prove the notification of Ervis Martinaj, of whom there has been no trace since August 2022. As a protagonist of the crime first exposed through Nuredin Dumani's repentance, the court formalized the measure of arrest with imprisonment against Martinaj in May 2022.
But three months later he disappeared, leaving behind a conspiracy. And while SPAK later signed, in addition to the Golden Bullet, a second measure born of Metamorphosis, the investigations did not leave his assets and those of his relatives in oblivion.
SPAK has requested the court to confiscate 42 assets suspected of being proceeds of crime, and which are under the names of relatives. Among them is a casino with suspended status that belonged 100 percent to Ervis Martinaj, known as the king of gambling.
But before the court hears SPAK, it must be convinced that it has tried all the ways for the wanted person to learn what is happening with his assets. / Top Channel
