A suspicious package arriving in the mail from the USA has led to the arrest of a young Albanian man and the discovery of a real drug warehouse inside his apartment in Greece.
The Greek police have followed a package that arrived at the Athens airport from the USA through the "FEDEX" postal service. The package contained the data of the sender "Dorla Kappel, 2325 Augusta Park, Wheeling wv, 26003, us - United States" and the recipient "Evangelos Thomopoulos, Georgiou Seferi 5, Voula, 16673, gr - greece, 6949332028".
Agents have discovered that the package was actually received by a person with different generalities than the recipient written on the package. It is about 27-year-old Evgenios Tomcani, of Albanian origin. He was detained together with the package in the area of Voula. 3 kg 10 grams of marijuana were found and seized inside it.
The police continued with the control of his apartment in Vari, where they found and seized about 1.8 kg of ketamine, 3.4 kg of marijuana, 5.6 kg of MEDICB marijuana, 5.8 kg of MDMA, 28 XANAX tablets, 35 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms, 1.7 grams of chocolate hash, 0.2 grams of pink cocaine, 1 Looxing – Class pistol with 3 rounds of comb, another 50 rounds, 2 knives and 1 punch booster. 3 scales and 3 mobile phones were also seized.
