The vehicles and other seized evidence have been sent for scientific examination, with the aim of identifying traces and other elements that could aid the investigation.
Vlora Police have prevented a possible criminal event by seizing two suspected stolen vehicles and fuel.
According to the official announcement, on 08.02.2026, the investigation structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate have carried out detailed checks on the road axis and in the territory of the village of Babicë e Madhe, following suspicions that two vehicles would be used to commit a criminal event.
As a result of police actions, the Police services have found hidden in an olive grove area:
a “Nissan” type vehicle, with foreign license plates;
an “Audi Q5” type vehicle, with foreign license plates;
3 cans of fuel (gasoline).
Initial investigative actions suggest that the vehicles were used to commit a serious criminal act. This remains an investigative suspicion, which is expected to be verified through further evidence and analysis.

The special investigative group of the Vlora DVP, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues its work to fully clarify the circumstances, as well as to identify and document the perpetrators.

As a result of the checks, the Police services have found hidden in an olive grove area, in the village of Babicë e Madhe, two suspected stolen vehicles, specifically:
- a “Nissan” type vehicle, with foreign license plates;
- an “Audi Q5” type vehicle, with foreign license plates; as well as 3 cans of fuel (gasoline). From the first investigative actions, it is suspected that these vehicles would be used to commit a " serious criminal event.
