A resident of Rrjoll, participating in the protest held in front of the Prime Minister's Office, responded to Prime Minister Edi Rama's statements regarding Albania's European integration process.
During her speech, she rejected the idea that the country's journey towards the European Union depends on a single person, emphasizing that there are many individuals in Albania capable of leading the integration process.
The citizen referred to a statement by the Prime Minister, according to which he had asked who would lead Albania into the European Union if he were no longer at the helm of the government.
"The Prime Minister said; if I leave, who will take you to the EU? I see that we have many individuals who can lead us towards the EU. We have even gone to the EU earlier. Some have joined us, some are on their way," she said.
According to the resident of Rrjoll, European integration should not be linked to the figure of a single individual, but to the capacities, institutions and potential that the country has to meet the standards required by the European Union.
