This Saturday was tragic for two young people in the city of Durrës, as they lost their lives in two tragic accidents.
The first accident happened around 15.40 in Hamallaj, along the road towards Lalëzi Bay. Two cars collided "head to head" and a 16-year-old man was killed.
The minor, identified as Alban Hasrama, was a passenger in one of the cars driven by 20-year-old Erseld Kamberi and collided with the Audi car driven by 25-year-old Orgest Merdita.
So far, the 20-year-old is in the hospital under the care of doctors. The cause of the serious accident is suspected to be the speed exceeding the permitted norms of the driver of 'Audit' Orgest Merdita, who underwent an alcohol test and was found to be clean.
" At around 15:40, in Hamallaj Durrës, the vehicle driven by citizen OM, 25 years old, collided with the vehicle driven by citizen EK, 20 years old.
As a result of the collision, the citizen EK was injured, who is under the care of doctors, and the passenger citizen AH, 16 years old, who was in the vehicle driven by the citizen EK, died in the hospital.
The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances and the cause of the accident ," the police announced.
The second accident happened around 20.45 at Ura e Djlani. A vehicle went off the road and its driver, a 22-year-old man, died as a result. It is suspected that the 22-year-old suffered a heart attack before crashing and then lost control of the vehicle.
So, the police arrived at the scene to investigate the causes and dynamics of the accident.
" Around 8:45 p.m., in neighborhood No. 4, Durrës, at "Ura e Dajlanit", the vehicle driven by citizen AH, 22 years old, collided slightly with separating traffic. From the first actions, it is suspected that the driver of the vehicle suffered a cardiac arrest while driving the vehicle and as a result he lost his life. The investigative team is at the scene and is working to clarify the circumstances of the incident ," the police announced.
