Greek police have arrested Olget Kola, 46, after, under circumstances that are still unknown, he hit and abandoned a 44-year-old Bangladeshi man he had collided with at the scene of the accident.
According to Greek police, Kola was riding his motorcycle on "Petro Rali" street in central Athens when an electric skateboard with a 44-year-old man riding on it appeared in front of him without lights.
The two vehicles collided violently and the 44-year-old man died at the scene.
Shortly after, Kola fled on his motorbike and was arrested only after 3 days of intensive search. It took surveillance of security cameras in the area to identify and discover the perpetrator.
He will be sent to court for a security measure on charges of abandoning the victim at the scene of an accident and involuntary manslaughter.
