A 38-year-old man was arrested in Tirana after embezzling 215,000 euros.
As part of the "Transporter" operation finalized by the Section for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crimes, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force, a citizen with the initials L. Xh., 38 years old, resident in Tirana, was handcuffed.
108,600 euros were seized as material evidence.
This citizen has fraudulently embezzled the amount of 215,000 euros from a 26-year-old man, under the pretext that he would provide him with a Bulgarian passport, as well as make him a shareholder in a private company in Turkey.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Tirana General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
