Greek police have arrested five people suspected of involvement in an organized drug trafficking ring on the island of Rhodes. Investigations have identified 40-year-old Alen Rizvani as the ringleader.
According to authorities, the group procured quantities of narcotics in Athens and organized their transport by boat from the port of Piraeus to Rhodes. Upon arrival on the island, the drugs were distributed on the local market.

During the operation, police seized 327,395 euros, 1.6 kilograms of raw cannabis, 27.23 grams of cocaine, four precision scales, mobile phones and hand-held notes.
