Police have provided new details regarding last night's incident in Tirana where 27-year-old AM lost his life. He was initially reported to have self-inflicted a gunshot wound and died in hospital.
According to the official announcement, from in-depth investigative actions, including reviewing security cameras and taking statements, it has resulted that the incident occurred in the apartment of citizen KH, who is a friend of the victim.
Following the procedures, the police have declared citizen KH wanted, as he is suspected of being present at the time of the incident.
Authorities say they are working to capture him and fully investigate and legally document the case.
"Following the preliminary information provided yesterday, regarding the self-harm of citizen AM, 27 years old, who lost his life in hospital, we would like to inform you that during the conduct of in-depth investigative actions (examination of cameras, taking statements) it resulted that the incident occurred in the apartment of citizen K. H, a friend of citizen AM.
Following the procedural actions, citizen KH was declared wanted, as he is suspected of being present during the event. Work is underway to capture him and fully document the case," the police announced.
