Klered Bozhanaj, the 42-year-old arrested for the attempted murder of the police officer, Edlir Alleshi, was questioned again this Friday by the investigators.
His statements to the police have increased even more suspicions that he suffers from mental health problems.
When asked about the circumstances and motive of the event, he said: "I am the commander of the Pentagon." The incident was referred to the prosecution for the attempted murder of the police officer. The 42-year-old was arrested 24 hours after injuring the employee of the Shqiponja forces. He was arrested while entering his apartment in the Kinostudio area.
A group of officers who were keeping the apartment under surveillance, intervened as soon as Bozhanaj was getting dressed, while he had a pistol-type weapon with cartridges in his mouth.
As material evidence, the pistol firearm, which is suspected to have been used during the crime, was seized.
Police sources confirmed that after the attack on officer Edlir Alleshi, the 42-year-old is in a serious psychological condition. It is learned that he returned from Italy in August of this year and according to the testimony of his relatives, he has shown psychological problems.
