On Tuesday evening in Veneto, a 32-year-old Albanian resident of Lazio was arrested by the Bolzano police.
The 32-year-old, who has been convicted several times, is hiding with his friends after a long escape through Italy.

The arrest warrant is in relation to the riots last Monday, June 24, after the European Championship matches between Italy and Croatia and Albania and Spain.

Many Italian fans have gathered in Victory Square to celebrate the passage to the next round. They were joined by many Albanian fans, but because of the disappointment of their team's elimination, they attacked the fans who were celebrating for Italy.

This led to a violent argument in which the 32-year-old Albanian allegedly pulled out a knife and wounded two young men, one in the arm and the other in the neck.

The investigation against the perpetrator began immediately and included the analysis of video recordings and numerous witness statements.
This made it possible not only to identify the author, but also to reconstruct the sequence of events. The 32-year-old Albanian was sent to Pordenone prison.

Based on his criminal record, the police issued a deportation order against him.
Further investigations are underway to identify everyone involved in the fight and determine their responsibility.
