A momentary conflict in the city of Durres has ended in violence with serious consequences for one person.
It is learned that the incident took place in neighborhood no. 14 of the coastal city. The arrested person is Kristo Domi, while the injured person is Gëzim Muka, who has serious head injuries.
The injured person suffered head injuries during the conflict and, after medical treatment at the Durrës Regional Hospital, was transported for specialized treatment to the University Trauma Hospital in Tirana.
"The services of the Durrës Police Commissariat, after receiving notification of a physical conflict between two citizens, in neighborhood no. 14, Durrës, immediately organized the work to identify and capture the perpetrator.
After quick action, it was possible to identify the suspected perpetrator, capture him and escort him to the Durrës Police Station for further action.
At the conclusion of the first investigative actions, the Criminal Investigation specialists at the Durrës Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto the citizen KD, 25 years old, resident of Durrës.
"This citizen had a conflict on the street, in neighborhood no. 14, for weak motives, with citizen Gezim Muka, who suffered head injuries during the conflict and, after medical treatment at the Durrës Regional Hospital, was transported for specialized treatment at the University Trauma Hospital in Tirana," the police announced.
