Injured three young Greeks, the Prosecutor's Office issues a European

The Greek prosecution has issued a European arrest warrant for the 37-year-old Albanian Nardi Idrizi alias Fatbardh Idrizi, suspected of being the author of the wounding of three young Greeks from Crete.

According to the police, Idrizi has sought the help of night groups in Greece to find shelter and is thinking of escaping to Turkey or Malta.

This was the reason that the Greek police intensified the search, but also issued a European arrest warrant in order to capture the Albanian in any country of the European Union.

For the Greek police, Idrizi is considered a high-risk person, not only because of the triple wounding but also because of his criminal history in Vlora, where he was involved in several robberies and a gun attack on the police.

37-year-old Nardi Ismet Idrizi was born in Durres and lives in Vlora. He is also known as Fatbardh Idrizi. His brother, Leonard Idrizi, was part of the "Coles" gang in Vlora and was killed.

On 15.07.2013, Nardi Idrizi was sentenced by the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes to 13 years and 4 months in prison, for the criminal offenses "Murder in other qualifying circumstances" remaining in the attempt, to the detriment of the citizen Isuf Lamaj, "Murder in other qualifying circumstances" remaining pending, to the detriment of the citizen Besnik Brahimaj, "Theft with a weapon" carried out in collaboration, in the event of 23.08.2012 at Alpet gas station, "Unauthorized possession of combat weapons", "Theft with violence" to the detriment of the citizen Viktor Gjoleka, "Theft with a weapon" committed in cooperation, in the event dated 11.05.2012 of Casino Flamingo, "Possession of weapons without permission", "Theft of banks" committed in cooperation (in the event dated 13.12 .2010), "Unauthorized possession of combat weapons".

In an event that happened on 23.08.2012 after a robbery in Vlora, Nardi Idrizi opened fire on the police patrol where the policemen Isuf Lamaj and Besnik Brahimaj were.

He was arrested in Vlora in August 2012 and released from prison some time ago. In 2022, it was discovered that this person benefited from an illegal sentence reduction in Fier prison during 2020, after the Prosecutor's Office investigated a scheme of abuse of power in this prison.
