The police have arrested the suspected perpetrator of the wounding of a 55-year-old man yesterday in Kavaja.
Armando Shtini is the 22-year-old who is suspected of injuring an electrical household technician in district 5 of the city of Kavaja.
Meanwhile, the 55-year-old is in the hospital and out of danger.
Following the actions carried out by the investigative group, to identify the author and clarify the circumstances of the event that occurred on 17.02.2024, in neighborhood no. 5, Kavajë, where he was hit with a cutting tool (knife), citizen IK, 55 years old, who is in the hospital, out of danger for his life, it has become possible to identify the suspected author of this event.
The services of the Kavajë Police Station, after several hours of checks in the area to catch the perpetrator, have located, captured and arrested the citizen A. Sh., 22 years old, the suspected perpetrator of the wounding of the 55-year-old.
Also, the Police services seized the cutting tool (knife) with which he is suspected to have committed the injury, as well as the vehicle with which the 22-year-old left the scene.
The procedural materials will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further action, the police announced.
