Yesterday, a drug trafficking network from Ecuador to EU countries was attacked by the Spanish police in coordination with Europol.
One of those involved is the Albanian Dritan Gjika, who is suspected to be the head of this network, where many other Albanians are also involved.
Journalist Aida Topalli has revealed details, saying that this was one of the biggest cocaine distribution lines.
"With the attack on this group, one of the biggest cocaine distribution lines from Ecuador has been hit. On February 6 of this year, the international authorities, together with the Albanian authorities, conducted another such an important mega-operation, where Dritan Gjika was declared wanted, who also received media coverage for the first time and his role.
There are three other people involved, each with important roles. There were also other Albanians arrested, all directed by Gjika.
