A fight between young people has escalated into the use of a knife.
According to the police, during a conflict between two people in Gjirokastër, a 29-year-old man stabbed a 21-year-old man.
As a result of the injuries, the 21-year-old was transported to the Trauma hospital for medical treatment.
Police services are working to capture the 29-year-old. Meanwhile, the work of the investigation group continues, for the full clarification of the circumstances of the event.
"This evening, in the Emergency Department of the Gjirokastër Regional Hospital, citizen LH, 21 years old, resident of the neighborhood "Kodra e Shtufit", who is suspected that during a momentary conflict for weak motives, citizen L Dh., 29 years old, resident of Fier, hit him with a cutting tool (knife).
The 21-year-old was sent for more specialized treatment to the Trauma hospital, Tirana.
The Police Services are working to capture the citizen L. Dh.. Meanwhile, the work of the investigative group continues, for the complete clarification of the circumstances of the event", the police announced.
