Images of the charred vehicle that was allegedly used by the perpetrators of the assassination of Claudio Prendi have been published.
What is left of the vehicle is undergoing an expertise at the Tirana Police, in order to learn more information that may lead to the identification of the perpetrators. A little earlier, it was reported that in the car that was set on fire in the Farka area, the crime weapon, a pistol type with a silencer, was also found.
Claudio Prendi, 28, was executed in the early hours of the morning on November 19. He was killed while riding his vehicle when he was leaving a bar in the "Xhamllik" area. According to reports, the victim was accompanied by his friends to the bar. When he left the bar to get into his car, he was alone and the perpetrators used the opportunity to shoot at him. They approached him parallel with their "Audi" type car and opened fire on him.
It is further reported that 5 bullets were fired at him, while the weapon was silenced. The police suspect that three people participated in the assassination, one of them played the role of the driver, while the other two played the role of the shooter. An hour after the murder, an "Audi A4" vehicle was found in the Farka area. It is also learned that the police have accompanied several people who have been interrogated in connection with this incident.
