The State Police has carried out a wide-ranging action in several cities of the country, which has led to the arrest of 25 people up to these moments, while checks continue in various bases.
It is learned that the action is aimed at persons suspected of drug, weapons and wanted persons.

Operation "Rule of Law", in implementation of the operational plan approved by the General Director of the State Police, for the capture of citizens declared wanted, citizens who circulate with firearms and those who keep weapons, ammunition or drug.
At the start of this operation, 1852 police officers were involved, from the National Security Forces, the "RENEA" Special Department, the Directorate of the Special Operational Force and the structures of the local Police Directorates.
So far, within this operation, 25 citizens have been arrested, of which:
✅️ 19 citizens declared wanted nationally and 1 citizen declared wanted internationally, mainly for criminal offenses against the person, property and in the field of narcotics;
✅️ 5 citizens were arrested in the act, for weapons and drugs.
Also, were seized:
✅️ a total of 9 weapons, fire, sports and hunting, a cutting tool and a significant amount of combat ammunition;
✅️narcotics cannabis sativa and cocaine, as well as a significant amount of money benefited from criminal activities.
Since the early hours of this morning, as a result of the maximum commitment of the State Police structures, throughout the country, for the implementation of the operational plan approved by the General Director of the State Police, for the capture of the citizens announced in national or international search for citizens who circulate with firearms and those who keep weapons, ammunition and/or drugs in their homes, the national police operation coded "Rule of Law" has started.
At the national level, until these moments:
- In Dibër, a 26-year-old man was arrested, who was wanted internationally, on account of Italy, accused of murder and armed robbery;
- 19 other nationally wanted citizens: for attempted double murder in Shkodër; for intentional serious injury or for carrying weapons without a permit in Dibër; on account of SPAK; within the mega-operation "Tempulli" (3 citizens in Tirana and 1 citizen in Durrës); for other cases in the field of narcotics in Tirana, Vlora and Berat counties; for theft in Tirana and Fier or for other criminal activities, they were caught and put in handcuffs;
-3 firearms (rifles and 2 pistols), shotguns and military ammunition were seized by the Police in Dibër, Tirana and Fier. All four of their owners have been put in handcuffs;
-61.5 grams of cocaine and 500 doses of cannabis were seized in Tirana and Dibër, and 2 citizens who possessed the narcotics, with the intention of selling them, were arrested in the act.
The procedural materials for each case were passed to the respective prosecutors for further investigative actions.
Operation "Rule of Law" continues throughout the country.
The State Police guarantees the citizens that it is maximally engaged, to continue the actions and nationwide police operations, for the fulfillment of the major objectives: the capture of the citizens announced as wanted, of the citizens who circulate with firearms, who are a potential risk to commit events criminals, as well as those who are involved in criminal activities in the field of narcotics.
We invite citizens to cooperate more with the Police, as only through cooperation with you we can achieve the fulfillment of the missions of the State Police, the guarantee of order and public safety, as well as the implementation of the rights and freedoms of citizens.
