The 8-year-old girl declared to the police that she was a witness when her father killed her mother, "stabbing her many times" in her bedroom.
The US police solved the murder of the Albanian Suela Saliaj, who was executed by her ex-husband Renato Muhaj.
Muhaj, accused of kidnapping his 8-year-old daughter, killed her mother yesterday with a knife and a metal handle. At the time of the macabre crime, the minor girl was present and saw the entire crime scene.
According to the police, Muhaj attacked his parents in their apartment and then killed 32-year-old Suela Saliaj.
Police have released details of the crime , saying the incident began around 2:44 a.m. Monday, when Clearwater police were called to the scene. According to the police, Muhaj raped his two parents, took their cell phones so they wouldn't call 911.
"Muhaj entered his parents' bedroom and during a conversation with them, he started punching his father in the face. The father was later taken to hospital with several bruises and broken teeth. Muhaj also grabbed a machete and raised the weapon as if to hit his mother with it. His parents held each other and closed their eyes for fear of being killed by Muhaj ," the police statement said.
"Muhaj hit his mother on the thigh and pushed her several times on a bed. When one parent managed to leave the apartment, the perpetrator locked the door and refused to let the other parent leave. Later, the parent was able to escape when Muhaj went to another room" , reports American media.
While leaving the apartment, Muhaj made a comment that someone (the person's name has been redacted) is "in the hands of the devil".
Clearwater Police contacted the Largo Police Department for assistance in locating the Albanian, and police went to Saliaj's home to conduct a search. According to an affidavit, officers saw blood outside Saliaj's apartment along with a knife. Inside the apartment, the 32-year-old Albanian woman was found dead on the floor of the bedroom, as there was blood on the bed and around her body, as she had cut her throat.
The daughter of Muhaj and Saliaj, Alessia, was not in the apartment, while the police raised the alarm around 7 am. Alessia and Muhaj could travel with a "Kia Sportage 2017". Around 8:30 a.m., a cell phone potentially linked to Muhajn was intercepted in the area of Belleair Road in Clearwater. The police found Alessia and Muhaj inside the Kia in the 1600 block. The girl was not injured by her father, while the police arrested and sent the Albanian into custody.

The girl said she knew her mother was dead and she asked her father, "Why did you do that?"
"The 8-year-old girl showed that her father really wanted to kill her," the girl's statement says.
The girl stated that after the murder, Muhaj took her from the apartment and quickly brought her down some stairs, causing her to fall. She added that she dragged him to his vehicle. The motive of this event is still unknown.
During a statement, Muhaj told the police that he did not remember what happened.
Muhaj was booked into the Pinellas County Jail on charges of murder, kidnapping of a child under 13, child abuse, aggravated assault, witness tampering, etc. During Muhaj's first court appearance today, Judge Pat Siracusa ordered that he be held in custody and assigned a defense attorney.
The judge ordered Muhajn to have no contact with his daughter.
