The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës has ordered "imprisonment" measures for five officials of the Rrogozhin Municipality who are accused of having committed the criminal offenses of "Abuse of duty", "Forgery" and "Fraud" with funds. of reconstruction, causing damage to the state budget in the amount of ALL 353,471,090.
The Court of First Instance of Durres General Jurisdiction has approved the request of the Durres Prosecutor's Office for the following citizens: MM (former employee of Rrogozhin Municipality), Xh.U. (currently responsible for the Office of Youth and Sports, Rrogozhin Municipality), BB (employee in Rrogozhin Municipality), EL (former employee, Rrogozhin Municipality), ER (currently specialist in the human resources office, Rrogozhin Municipality).
The investigation shows that the aforementioned citizens have committed the above criminal offenses in at least 78 cases. Also, in addition to the detained persons, the 78 citizens who cooperated for the benefit of the reconstruction funds are also under investigation. The latter are accused of the criminal offense "Fraud" provided for by Article 143 of the Criminal Code.
